Nils Venge with owner Edward Ulshafer

BrianEdward wines’ superior quality begins in the vineyard. Before harvest, we spend months monitoring the development of the grape clusters, selecting only clusters that ripen evenly and are free from imperfection. The grapes are allowed an extended “hang time” to develop the maturity and color in the skins. Sugar levels are measured at regular intervals.

BrianEdward’s grapes are sourced from the finest vineyards in the Napa Valley. Our grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, in the field and on the crush pad, selecting only the finest quality grape clusters, before being de-stemmed and placed into small fermentation tanks as whole berries. Artisan winemaking methods and attention to detail allow for minimal intervention during fermentation.

It is our desire to make expressive, elegant wines in traditional old world style, with distinction, complexity, and balance. We believe our grapes from the legendary vineyards of Beckstoffer's Georges III and Truchard, aged in the finest French oak barrels from Taransaud and Francois Freres and crafted expertly by our renowned winemaking team of Nils Venge and Lars Bjorkman, allows us to achieve our goal, offering you wonderful wines at an attractive value.
